Journey management from the value of patient outcomes
Value Based Healthcare is the service concept of Patientsforce. The PatientsForce team is committed to optimizing the patient journey management, starting from clinical diagnosis, helping patients reduce the burden of treatment, and assisting in the integration of care resources to complete the support plan for the doctor’s ordered treatment. Through the professional consultant management team, we work together with pharmaceutical companies or other medical resource providers to provide integrated services such as drug costs, finance, care, and resources related to medical and chronic diseases, and patient-centered journey management, so as to improve the accessibility and affordability of patients’ medicines.
PAP has become an important bridge for new drugs to enter health insurance benefits
In 2024, Patientsforce will continue to support nearly 60 drug use support programs in a variety of therapeutic areas, mainly for cancer, immune-related diseases, endocrine and metabolic diseases.

PatientsForce Drug Support Program Implements Major Classes of Drugs (Statistics as of 2024/12/31)
Based on the annual reports of the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s Cancer Registry2, cancer is the top 10 cause of death, with a profound impact on the quality of life of patients and their families. PatientsForce’s patient support programme covers all cancer sites, including lung cancer and breast cancer, which are the most common cancers in Malaysia, and a number of self-paid drugs are also included in the programme’s services.
PAP acts as a temporary buoyancy bridge before the payment of new drug health insurance, and through the patient medication support program provided by the pharmaceutical company, patients with less financial ability can be referred to a physician for treatment first. In 2024, about 16% of the PAP drugs will be covered or expanded by health insurance, so that all or some patients can be smoothly extended to health insurance drug treatment. Patientsforce plays the third role of public-private cooperation in health insurance, allowing health insurance, private insurance and support plans to work together to solve the problem of time lag between supply and demand adjustment in the pharmaceutical economic market during the self-pay period after the launch of new drugs (including medical materials).

PSPs become a valuable service in the specialty medication patient journey
In the treatment journey of patients with special medications, case management is not only about patient follow-up, but also about patient event management, and patient event management comes from clinical administrative documents, education and cultural differences between patients and caregivers, transportation and other barriers to medical accessibility, and integrated management of care resources, etc., PSP (Patient support program) plays the role of narrowing the clinical perfect protocol and the real world distance to the treatment condition; In 2024, Patientsforce will provide 17 clinical patient support services, including continuous care for patients before return visits, case services for companion diagnosis, and support for special patients. In addition, Patientsforce has cooperated with more than 40 major medical institutions in Taiwan to provide related testing support services, accumulating more than 10,000 patients to be assisted in their treatment journey.
PatientsForce continues to deliver patient support results that have a quantifiable impact on society
To date, PatientsForce has assisted nearly 60,000 patients and provided special medication relief services worth more than NT$6 billion. In the past three years, there have been an average of more than 10,000 new patients per year, and the number continues to grow.

PatientsForce has actively deployed digital management services to allow patients to complete the signing of consent forms through their mobile phones, and the medication management window can also complete the patient receipt process online, thereby improving the convenience of the application process. According to the 2024 MediTech (digital) service, more than 80% of specific items are used, and the number of registered people is steadily increasing year by year, with the most commonly used items including service inquiries and applications (18%)、定期提醒(42%), and support resource inquiries (40%). In addition to making patient service management more efficient, it also implements environmental value benefits such as reducing paper use and carbon emissions from the journey.
