Xiangxin Zhang, General Manager of PatientsForce, said that he expects every cancer patient to have equal access to life-saving early detection, treatment and support, and to assist New Pharma in providing personalized services for manufacturer planning and management.
On February 4, World Cancer Day, organizations around the world are focusing on the inequalities in cancer treatment and calling for “closing the treatment gap”. According to domestic patient support service groups, Taiwan’s health insurance system can already provide diverse and equal medical options, and if it can join the system of strengthening the market’s innovative medical payment, through cooperation with the government, medical institutions, non-governmental organizations, and the public and private sectors, the concept of innovative medical payment can make up for the early stage of new treatments on the market, the lack of patient scale but strong demand, and the patient navigation service can help patients better understand various new treatment options, and then obtain better treatment outcomes.
This year, the U.S. Congress passed a resolution designating February 4 as World Cancer Day to highlight the importance of meaningful action to raise awareness of inequities in cancer care and support efforts to close treatment gaps.
In addition to this resolution, NCCN, the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), and the National Minority Quality Forum (NMQF), jointly announced three major areas of policy concern: (i) advancing diversity in clinical trials; (2) Improve cancer screening and early detection, and (3) increase the accessibility of patient navigation.
PatientsForce Patient Support Services Management is committed to innovating support services for patients in Taiwan, especially in making the latest drug treatments affordable for cancer patients. Xiangxin Zhang, General Manager of PatientsForce, emphasized that every cancer patient is expected to have equal access to life-saving early detection, treatment and support, and assists New Pharmaceuticals in providing personalized services for manufacturer planning and management.
PatientsForce is not only a provider of medication support plan management, but it also offers a comprehensive suite of companion services, including patient education, treatment adherence plan consultation, and patient family support to bring treatment outcomes closer to the desired level.
